It is fascinating to see the common threads and progression of these fantastic cultural events, all showcasing some specific new creation, architecture, or marvel of man. Condition of this item is good; there is definite wear from age and handling, yet the cover is tight and pages are intact. The most notable flaw is the 1" tear down from the top of the spine along with some edgewear. Overall, I would call this about a 5 on a 10 scale with a lot of life left in it to enjoy. I bought this years ago when I was doing research for my book
