VINTAGE DOXA ANTI-MAGNETIC WOMEN'S WRIST WATCH W/ MID-CENTURY MODERN METAL BAND

Description

A lovely vintage Doxa Anti-Magnetic women's wrist watch, Swiss made. Features unusual mid-century modern style wide metal band. Silver tone with hinge, slide-pin closure, and additional safety clasps. Watch face is also on a hinge which allows for it to swing out from its window in the band. Dial features gold tone hour markers, subdial, and hands, silver tone case. Marked on dial "DOXA, ANTI-MAGNETIC, SWISS MADE." Back of watch face is marked 6390480, 6793 B1. Band measures at widest approx. 1.75" x 8" around, watch face approx. 1"dia. In fair vintage condition, with general wear from age/use, imperfections to the metal band (surface scratches, oxidation, and one small dent), a little dirt by the watch face's bottom edge under the glass, loss to metal plating of the case, and some friction (pin is a little bent) to the slide-pin closure, but fully functional - see pictures. Watch has not been opened, but you can hear ticking and watch the hands move when the crown is wound.
