Vintage Antique Fireman Collectible Giant Firefighters Helmet Wall Sign Decor

I bought this from another antique dealer. She said she got it from a 95 year old fireman collection. I don't know the history of this item. A goggle search led me to believe it has something to do with Long time ago James S. Barr fire chief of Kenosha Wisconsin. I don't if it something that someone mad up or what. However it is very neat and would look great in someone's collection. Very heavy it weighs almost 7lbs. It might be a type of plaster or resin. It has a hallow sound when tapped, but it seems way to heavy to be hallow. Please use the pictures provided to ascertain your own opinion about this particular item.
