Pillow Encircled (Midway) Cake Stand clear diameter 9 1/2”. Model Flint Company Findlay Glass Company #857 circa 1889 and National Glass Company 1901. The glass is clear any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from outdoors where I photographed the piece.
The high standard cake stand has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Wonderful color and clarity and impression from the mold is excellent. Very prominent brandy well that is deep. There is very minor mold roughness on bottom of the scallops around top (a little extra glass). Inside of base is smooth, outside bottom rim is rough around the top-just under pillows and just under the groove, but smooth on the bottom of base. One or two very small chips on this design element not smooth to the touch. Please email with questions or comments. Weight before packing 3.888 pounds. Overall this cake stand is gorgeous!!
