Silver plated nickel-silver keys. Gold plated throughout, including the inner tube of the head joint, body and foot joint.
Offset G Keys for ergonomic hand comfort. Plateau model (closed holes), drawn and rolled tone holes.
Stainless Steel Springs. Modern Scale pitched at A442.
Black leather textured hard case. Cavallaro fleece lined case cover. Wood cleaning rod.
Slight gold plating wear at rear of lip plate (chin contact) and on B natural (inner) thumb key.

Great flute for a jazz saxophone doubler or flutists who have difficulty sealing the holes on open hole keyed flutes.
I am the second owner of this beautifully unique 37 year old flute, having it for the past 18 years. The first owner had it 17 years before selling. I used this extensively for orchestral playing, chamber music and church performances.
When I purchased this beauty in 2003 Miyazawa USA completely overhauled, re-padded and cleaned off years of tarnish. At the time Miyazawa provided a letter of appraisal for replacement value at 50.00 (see photos).
It has been annually serviced and re-padded to maintain it's excellent level of playability ever since. At this time it is not in any need of adjustment or service.
