    Stunning collection of used ethnographic masks from the Island of Java (Javanese) Indonesia
    Private collection including CLOWN MASKS.
    More precisely these are from Lombok (an Indonesian island like Bali)
    While there are fine examples of both art and tourist items coming from this part of the world, these are authentic
    Notice the patina around the chin lines and eyes.
    Multiple layers of paint suggesting these pieces were used for several years of annual dance.
    The carvers of these masks were exceptionally skilled.
