59 Snapshots 1989 Nagoya Japan World Design Expo '89 Exposition Photos

(Scroll down to see the 14 scans I've included in this listing - click on each one to see a close-up view) This auction is for 59 different snapshots of the World Design Exposition held in Nagoya, Japan in 1989. All of the photos have a matte finish. 11 of photos measure 5" x 3-1/2" on Kodak paper. 48 of the photos measure 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" on a Fujicolor paper. These are nice clear photos showing many pavilions, features, buildings, etc at the exposition. The photographer did a good job taking the photos. Some of the views from the World Design Expo include: pavilion with "Dream" (can't read the word after it which is partially obscured), "Shirotori Site", NTT pavilion, Toyota pavilion, several views from above the expo, Expo boat, Pokka Liner piazza station (possibly a monorail or train station), Pokka Liner Garden Station, pavilion with giant Sony screen / stage, musical performances on stage (one of them is the Maruei Dixieland Express), fountains, floral display, "FM Depo", etc. The photos are in very good condition - the original owner wrote a number on the back of each one. This auction is for the photos and does not include the album they are in. (Unless you want to pay the additional cost to ship the 3 pound photo album they are in.) Most were taken by one man who attended most every World's Fair and expositions between those years. Snapshots of expos in the U.S., Canada, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Australia, etc. A few years ago I purchased an enormous collection of World's Fair items from just about every World's Fair and Exposition from San Diego 1915 through Japan 2005. It seems like the man visited just about every fair and expo from 1964 through 2005 all over the world - Canada, Japan, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, Australia, the U.S. and other countries. I'm still going through the 40+ containers which contain souvenirs, photos, slides (He took lots of photographs and slides of these expositions), books, publications, etc.
