A beautiful 1888 proof three cent nickel graded PR 66 by PCGS. It carries very mark free surfaces with an excellent proof quality strike throughout both sides. This beauty has been housed in an Old Green Label PCGS Holder.
This proof issue date holds a small mintage of only 4,582. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,750 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 194 graded Proof 66 by PCGS.
